Lydia Hope-Wallace has been writing seditious pamphlets under a pseudonym for three years. And for almost as long, she's been corresponding with Arthur Braid, the Earl of Strathrannoch, whose political ambition is matched only by his charm. When Arthur's latest letter reveals his dire financial straits, Lydia sets off for Scotland with an idea: to propose a marriage of convenience.
