Victoria is a voracious reader. She dreams of duels and chases, dangerous missions in Siberia, and of an alien taking her sister away forever. Unfortunately, she lives in the quietest, most boring town in the world. However, suddenly inexplicable things begin to happen: her friend Jo is on the trail of three Native Americans, her books are disappearing from her bedroom shelf, and one night she catches a cowboy driving her father's car.
