The story of Thomas and Vanessa has come to an end. The lies and betrayals weigh too heavily, and it's not always possible to mend what's broken. When their paths diverge, Vanessa decides to leave Corvallis, but the journey isn't enough to restore her peace, as she still harbors a deep resentment toward the man who broke her heart. Meanwhile, Thomas has decided to straighten out his life, and to do so, he's prepared to leave his excesses behind and confront, once and for all, the demons that haunt him. When Vanessa and Thomas meet again at university, the anger they both feel toward each other transforms into a war of confrontations and provocations. However, the attraction that binds them hasn't disappeared, like a fire that smolders beneath the ashes, waiting only for a spark to reignite.
