The best aid for clearly understanding legal terms The Pan-Hispanic Glossary of Legal Terms was created to facilitate the clear and precise understanding of legal terms, avoiding confusion and improving access to justice. It is, therefore, a fundamental project within the action plan of the Pan-Hispanic Network for Clear and Accessible Language. With this objective, and starting from the Pan-Hispanic Dictionary of Legal Spanish, a team of experts in legal matters and their communication to the public, along with specialists in fundamental lexicography, undertook the tasks of revising and making various adjustments to the dictionary in order to prepare a version adapted to plain language.
