Un día de fiebre

An earthquake shakes Madrid one afternoon in February 2015. Although it doesn't cause a catastrophe, it sows fear and forever alters the lives of several people whose stories will eventually intertwine. Among them are a young university student scarred by a brutal hazing incident; a hotel owner still haunted by his wife's death in the Atocha train bombings; a judge and his lover, both averse to commitment; a firefighter drowning in debt; and a teacher preparing for her octogenarian mother's birthday. Through a delicate web of convergences, the novel reveals the wounds and hopes of characters searching for light in times of darkness.
