Huellas en los fiordos

Twenty-five years after the unsolved disappearance of her younger sisters, Rosa and Björk, Hildur still lives in Ísafjörður, a remote town in Iceland's Westfjords. There, she works as a police inspector, trying to cope with the trauma of her past, while her only escape is surfing in the frigid waters of the North Atlantic. After several years in the missing children unit in Reykjavík, Hildur has returned to the small police station in her hometown. She is soon joined by Jakob Johanson, a Finnish intern with a troubled past and unhealed emotional wounds. When a man is found murdered, his throat slashed and buried under an avalanche that has destroyed most of the evidence, Hildur and Jakob must confront their own demons and the dark secrets hidden within the community to uncover the culprit.
