Las ovejas detectives

On a hill near the peaceful and picturesque village of Glennkill, a flock of sheep surrounds the body of a man. It is their shepherd, George Glenn, who has been found dead in the grass with a shovel through his chest. Who could have murdered him? And why? Immediately, the ruminants gather and, having agreed on the need to investigate, they set off. Fortunately for the reader, the shepherd has left them unusually prepared, since their investigative impulse stems from George's habit of reading to them for a while every night: a few fairy tales, many romance novels, a treatise on sheep diseases, and even part of a detective novel. Although it will soon become clear that there will be no shortage of suspects, discovering the killer will not be an easy task, so Miss Maple and her quick-witted companions will have to show off their ancient sheep wisdom, their sharp powers of observation and what they learned from books if they want to successfully decipher the enigmatic clues of the behavior of humans, those strange beings.
