A veinte años, Luz

The birth of her son allows young Luz to illuminate a dark region of her memory. It was a fleeting intuition, but from that moment on, the doubt about her true origins became an obsession: was she, as she had believed for twenty years, the daughter and granddaughter of supporters of the Argentine dictatorship, or, on the contrary, was she the daughter, born in captivity, of two disappeared persons? As if the blindfold suddenly fell from her eyes, her entire past takes on a new meaning. Luz awakens from her lethargy and throws herself into a tenacious and obsessive search for the truth, which illuminates the darkest corners of the society in which she was raised. The story that gradually unfolds is that of a country divided by a regime of terror, wounded by torture, the horror of disappearances, the infamous cover-up, and the subsequent betrayal of oblivion.
