Déjame en las sombras

Far removed from his frenetic former life, Juan Lecuona —ex-guerrilla fighter, ex-spy, ex-exile, and gentleman thief— now lives in the Nice of casinos, yachts, and unrestrained luxury, in a France that in 1963 is facing a covert civil war following Algeria's independence. A robbery at a jewelry store in Perpignan jolts Juan out of his placid reverie: he has unwittingly robbed the Marseilles mafia, who now want him dead. The French secret service offers him a suicidal way out: in exchange for a deal with the Côte d'Azur mafia, Juan must rob the Organization de l’Armée Française (OAS), a terrorist group made up of military officers opposed to Algerian independence and obsessed with assassinating General de Gaulle. The former spy must return to Spain to steal the OAS's money. To do so, he will have to infiltrate a clandestine group of assassins, protected by police officers, where a mysterious woman controls the capital of the most dangerous organization in Europe.
