Buntarô encounters his old friend Miyamoto, but despite the nostalgic reunion, he senses something strange about him. Shortly after, Yumi reveals the truth behind her return, leaving Buntarô disillusioned. He decides to isolate himself on the summit of Mount Fuji. Three months later, a woman named Hana gets lost in the area, Buntarô rescues her... and his destiny begins to change!
