When the life of one of the colossal dragons dwelling in the remote celestial heights, in the so-called "deep sky," comes to an end, its body falls to Earth, triggering the "descent." The dragon-ship Quin Zaza sets sail for the Megalanika Desert with the young student Chika, born in the land of the senbôshi, to witness this descent! However, one of the dragons swirling in the area attacks Takita, parasitizing her and robbing her of the sight in her right eye. The crew sets out to find the parasitic dragon and find a solution, but before their very eyes, a giant dragon falls from the sky, and the curtain rises on the descent!
