Después de Eternidad

Eternity is a remote place, a small mining town beyond the Arctic Circle, which surprisingly boasts its own theater. The adventures of its theater company during the turbulent final decades of the 20th century are recorded in the notebook left behind by the town's former director, Alexandr Ivanovich, a kind, poor, and gravely ill old man, in the waiting room of a provincial doctor. This is the starting point for Maxim Osipov's new book of short stories, in which, through everyday and seemingly minor tales, he speaks to us about Russian society and history, from the twilight of the Soviet period to the war in Ukraine.
