Las personas del verbo

In 1975, Jaime Gil de Biedma compiled his poetry under the title *Las personas del verbo* (The Persons of the Verb), a volume that included his three books, *Compañeros de viaje* (Traveling Companions), *Moralidades* (Moralities), and *Poemas póstumos* (Posthumous Poems), revised and arranged for the occasion. In 1982, he published a second edition, expanded to include the few poems he had written up to that point. Although the author considered this to have definitively established the corpus of his poetry, it is only now, fifty years after its first publication, that we can say that Gil de Biedma's complete poetic works are definitively collected in a single volume, thanks to research in the author's archive carried out by Andreu Jaume.
