New Year's Eve at a secluded English manor, at a party that promises to be unforgettable. At Hamlet Hall, a group of old friends gather to celebrate the last night of the year by participating in a detective game set in the 1920s: each guest has an assigned role, and everything is designed for a fun time. But the evening has barely begun when one of them turns up dead. The murder wasn't part of the game: the fun turns to fear, and what should have been a pleasant evening becomes a nightmare in which no one is above suspicion. With the house isolated by a storm, old grudges resurface, buried secrets are revealed, and hidden lies are exposed, while it becomes clear that someone has decided to play by their own rules… and doesn't intend to stop.
