Agatha Raisin y las brujas desdichadas (Agatha Raisin, 9)

After a vengeful hairdresser applied hair removal cream instead of shampoo, and perpetually heartbroken, Agatha Raisin decides to spend some time away from her idyllic home in Carsely and take refuge in the exclusive, somewhat gloomy Garden Hotel in the coastal town of Wyckhadden. But what begins as a spiritual retreat soon turns into a true ordeal for poor Agatha, who has to deal with elderly guests who constantly harass her about her hair loss. Desperate to get her hair back as soon as possible, our heroine decides to follow the advice of a hotel guest and goes to the cottage of Francie Juddle, a local witch specializing in magic potions, in search of a miracle tonic. Unfortunately, far from improving, everything takes a turn for the worse when Francie is murdered with a blow to the head, and Agatha, the last person to see her alive, becomes the prime suspect. Who could have committed such a heinous crime? As she delves deeper into her investigation, Agatha Raisin discovers deep-seated desires for revenge and unspeakable secrets among the strange group of elderly people with whom, much to her dismay, she shares endless games of Scrabble and ballroom dancing.
