Hyōma and Tsubaki Kadomori, a Saenome from Kyoto, set out to eliminate the group of Tsukumogami whose vessels are instruments of torture and whose sole purpose is to inflict suffering on people: the Sōgenbi. On one side are those who seek to harm humans; on the other, those who wish to save them. And in the midst of it all is Botan Nagatsuki, who wanders on the border between objects and humans, her distance from Hyōma growing ever smaller.
