Primer amor

After a difficult childhood, Beyah Grim wins a scholarship to leave behind the place where she's never been happy. But two months before she's due to leave, an unexpected death leaves her homeless, forcing her to spend the rest of the summer in Texas with a father she barely knows. Heartbroken and eager for summer to pass quickly, Beyah has neither the time nor the patience for Samson, the wealthy and brooding neighbor next door. Yet the connection between them is too strong to ignore. They know their future plans will take them apart, so they decide to have a casual summer fling.
