Japan has been invaded by gods who have left only death and destruction in their wake. With entire cities classified as uninhabitable danger zones, investigator Sachiyuki Tokinaga is determined to find a way to stop the gods and save humanity. Desperate for answers about her friend's disappearance, Waka ventures into the danger zone of Tokyo in search of clues. Instead, she finds Tokinaga, and as Waka tries to decide whether to trust him, the investigator soon realizes that Waka is hiding a dangerous secret—one that could be the key to ending the gods once and for all, and perhaps both of them could change the fate of the world forever.
