Jotadé

It's a hot July night in Madrid when two men are disemboweled and thrown from a bridge over the M30 motorway in what appears to be a sinister settling of scores between rival clans. Their entrails land on a convertible, which plunges into the Manzanares River with its occupants: three young women returning from a night out. One of them dies instantly: she's the youngest daughter of the police commissioner, who demands quick answers and minimal media attention from his officers. This is an almost impossible order for Sub-Inspector Jotadé Cortés, the only Romani officer in his precinct and an irreverent character who despises hierarchies and is known for bending the rules. But everyone knows he also possesses exceptional intuition and was Inspector Indira Ramos's right-hand man on her last case. Loyal to his comrades and respected on the street, Jotadé will find himself at a crossroads that will force him to return to an uncomfortable past and do the impossible to protect what is most important in his life.
