Cornelia has inherited an antique shop in New York City. Being only eleven years old, she doesn't know what to do with it, especially since the previous owner, Mr. Niemann, died unexpectedly. Along with the shop, Cornelia also inherits a mission: to find Captain Kidd's lost treasure. With the help of Miguel, the neighbor across the hall, Cornelia picks up the search where Mr. Niemann left off. She soon discovers the true nature of Niemann Antiques: solving mysteries hidden throughout New York City.
