Me hallará la muerte

Madrid, 1942. Antonio and Carmen conspire to fleece wealthy individuals in the area around Retiro Park. But adversity and misfortune will force Antonio to flee from justice. He enlists in the Blue Division to put some distance between himself and the law; and in Russia, he will experience untold hardships. Many years later, in 1954, after surviving all kinds of trials, Antonio returns to Spain. There, in a murky and dangerous Madrid, begins a very different kind of adventure, in which Antonio will live the life of a wealthy man. But this new life will force him to improvise, pretend, and remain constantly vigilant to keep the shadows of his past safely hidden; and in his efforts to do so, he will have to delve, always stalked by death, into an increasingly tangled web of intrigue.
