Los amores paralelos

Estefanía and Selina, daughters of a well-to-do family in Oviedo, live their lives surrounded by the religious images in the family workshop and dreams of an ideal marriage. But in 1930s Asturias, love is never just love: it's class, it's politics, it's destiny. Fani falls in love with a Civil Guard officer. Lina, with a young miner committed to the workers' struggle. Amidst incense and dynamite, their choices will shape the course of their lives and that of their entire family. Revolution erupts, tragedy strikes, and resentment builds walls even between sisters.
