The laws regulating the illegal trafficking of pre-Columbian antiquities and archaeological remains weren't particularly strict in Colombia at the beginning of the 20th century, so it's no surprise that Jaime Mercader, with little regard for the law, tried to profit by joining his father's thriving business. What he couldn't have imagined was that the discovery of a curious Inca stone would lead them on one of the strangest adventures of their lives. Pursued by mysterious tattooed assassins, Jaime Mercader and his companions travel through jungles and rivers, cross the Andes, and confront Jívaro tribes, ultimately discovering, in the heart of the Amazon, the best-kept secret of the Middle Ages.
