Mamá está dormida

When Aurora begins to lose her memory, she asks her son, "And your brother, where is he?" A question that might seem commonplace and trivial were it not for the fact that this fifty-three-year-old son had always believed he was his only child. Is it true, or is it a hallucination? How might this change his life? Do his mother's hazy memories weigh more heavily, or the certainties that surface amidst the cracks of their arguments? To uncover the truth, the two embark on a journey in a camper van, along with their old dog, to Vera de Bidasoa, a mountain village where Aurora lived as a young woman under the protection of the harsh and sinister Sección Femenina (Women's Section).
