Patch Simmons has decided that this will be the year she gets a boyfriend, so goodbye to her French pen pal and... hello to the world! The problem is that the only other gay kids in their grade are dating, so finding a boyfriend isn't going to be easy... Until fate intervenes and two mysterious new kids join the drama club: Peter, who just arrived from New York, and his best friend, Sam. Patch is sure that one of them will be his first boyfriend.
