El caso Holst

On a rainy and cold Valentine's Day, a woman rushes home, anxious and worried. She's been harassed by a stranger for some time and is constantly on edge. Once home, she installs a new SIM card in her phone and tells her daughter the new number. For a few seconds, she feels safe, until a notification of a new message means not only that she hasn't been able to escape her stalker, but that he's very close. The harassed woman's ex-husband and daughter report her missing, and Mark Hess and Naia Thulin take on the investigation. It will be the first of several cases that follow a very similar pattern and that they quickly link to the unsolved murder, two years earlier, of Emma Holst, a 19-year-old high school student, and to a much older open case: a perverse game of hide-and-seek that began one spring day more than 30 years ago, when a fun school trip turned into a nightmare.
