We fall for several seconds, many more than I expected. Finally, I crash to the ground. Eric falls on top of me, still screaming. I look around and give him a gentle push to get him off. It was supposed to be a simple mission, almost boring. Breaking into a museum to steal a magical relic is a piece of cake. But something must have gone wrong, because we were inside a building before, and now we're out in the middle of nowhere. What's more, it was night before, and now it's barely getting dark. How is this possible? Where are we? "Wow! I think I know what happened," Eric says, his eyes wide. "We've traveled through time."
