Rancho relincho

Ten-year-old Nora is an award-winning jockey who lives in a suburban neighborhood and has a close-knit group of best friends. However, when her mother gets a new job and they have to move, she suddenly has to adjust to many changes: being the only Black girl in a new class and also to a new stable called Rancho Relincho, where her beloved horse will find a new home. At Rancho Relincho, Nora meets the sweet and intelligent Laura, the fun-loving and eccentric Wilson, and the fearless Dizzy. With her diverse team of jockeys, Nora learns that it's okay to be different and empowers herself as a leader, realizing that being a jockey isn't just about winning, and that winning might be something very different from what she thought.
