The Palau de la Música hosts the world tour premiere of the renowned Barcelona Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Víctor Alemany, the great contemporary maestro of classical music. In the middle of the performance, the iconic modernist skylight overlooking the symphony hall explodes into a thousand pieces, and a man falls, hanging by his neck from a rope. The explosion causes chaos, and panic grips the audience that fills the hall. This will be only the first in a series of events that will take place in the different capital cities where the orchestra will perform. Sergeant Martina Roca will be in charge of investigating them, venturing into a labyrinth where the most perverse side of the human condition will captivate the reader until the very last page.
