We are seven bears who lived peacefully in our little house until squatters in the form of princesses and other furry creatures started arriving. What would happen if seven very, very short and very, very distrustful bears, inhabitants of an ordinary forest, were to encounter the most well-known characters from classic fairy tales: the brave little tailor (reformed), Snow White, Puss in Boots, and Donkey Skin, among others? The stories would change "a little" because these bears are as easily frightened as they are short-sighted. Thus, a sleepy princess ends up being saved by a rather cocky, brave tailor; poor Snow White ends up spending a long time penniless and without a prince; Puss in Boots sneaks into Little Red Riding Hood's house to eat pancakes, demonstrating his considerable nerve; and Donkey Skin ends up flirting with a knight who has made a pact with the devil. In all the stories, a good portion of the disasters happen in the poor bears' little house.
