El secreto de la Mona Lisa

Florence, 1494. A love has blossomed between Lisa Gherardini and Giuliano de' Medici, forcing them to become secret lovers. When the members of the powerful Medici dynasty are expelled from the city, Lisa attempts to escape with him but fails. As punishment, her father forces her to marry Francesco del Giocondo, a silk merchant much older than herself. However, over the years, her feelings will continue to bear the name of her lover. Around this same time, Leonardo da Vinci is already the most famous artist of his era, fiercely rivaled by the young sculptor Michelangelo Buonarroti. When Giuliano de' Medici asks him to paint his beloved's portrait so he can send her a message, the painter accepts the risky commission. Doing so will not only embroil Lisa in a dangerous and unexpected conspiracy but will also test her heart.
