A journey into the traditional ballad tradition, masterfully illustrated by Fernando Vicente. From novels like "The Prisoner" and historical ballads like "Abenámar," to the modern settings of "Delgadina" and "The Mountain Woman of La Vera," a dozen of the most representative compositions of the traditional ballad tradition regain their splendor in this selection, updated visually by illustrator Fernando Vicente with his iconic style: evocative spaces of epic and mystery; stylized and expressive figures that, from their original context in medieval epic poems, defy the passage of time with the freshness of their poses, their restrained emotion, and the bold blend of factual and allegorical elements.
