Madrid, 2012. Silvia enjoys a fairly quiet life; she works at the National Library, has a wonderful group of friends, and every night loses herself in the pages of one of the antique books she collects with devotion. Until one day a mysterious manuscript falls into her hands, changing everything forever. When she realizes she's being pursued and that her life is in danger, she asks Alex, an expert on medieval castles, for help in deciphering the enigma. Together they travel across Spain in a frantic race, dodging art thieves, veteran police officers, and unscrupulous hitmen.
