This book covers the content of the professional module "Databases," included in the first year of the advanced vocational training cycle "Multiplatform Application Development," according to Royal Decree 450/2010 of April 16, and in the advanced vocational training cycle "Web Application Development," according to Royal Decree 686/2010 of May 20. Both training cycles have been updated in accordance with Royal Decree 405/2023 of May 29. This work is presented as a tool that facilitates the teaching and learning process, combining conceptual and, fundamentally, procedural content. Each of its 18 units includes theoretical information, accompanied by numerous examples and diagrams. Furthermore, at the end of each unit, solved and proposed exercises are presented to synthesize and reinforce the acquired knowledge. The book is complemented by an exclusive teaching guide for teachers, which includes the curriculum project, classroom programming and its timing, the answer key for the proposed activities, exam models and additional activities.
