Evergreen the squirrel is afraid of almost everything: thunder, hawks, and the dark paths of the Thistlewood Forest... But when her mother tasks her with taking a magical soup to her Grandma Oak—who is down with the flu—the little squirrel must face her fears and set out on the journey, careful not to spill a single drop, since "Grandma Oak will need every last drop to get better." Along the way, Evergreen encounters other forest inhabitants: some want to help her, while others covet the delicious soup her mother prepared. It will be up to Evergreen to stay on track...
