Viola Bowen is presented with the opportunity of a lifetime: designing a video game based on her favorite book series. The only problem is that she'd have to share the project with that pesky Jesse Andrews, also known as her arch-nemesis. Jesse has made it abundantly clear over the years that he wants nothing to do with her, but Viola can't understand why. When her bosses insist that a winter getaway together is the perfect way to boost team spirit, Viola can't think of anything worse. Freezing in a remote mountain lodge knowing Jesse is in the next room? No, thanks. But as the snow piles up, Viola discovers that Jesse isn't who she thought he was, and things get heated in more ways than one.
