Alamut is proud to present the most ambitious publishing project ever undertaken in Spanish concerning the great Isaac Asimov: the edition, with a new translation, of his complete short stories, bringing together the original collections compiled by the author himself and including his delightful introductory texts. This second volume collects the first three collections that Asimov published in the 1950s: "The Martian Style", "Earth Is Enough", and "Nine Futures". In these, the author compiled the most celebrated stories from his prolific period writing for science fiction magazines. At that time, Asimov was already a star of the genre, and his short story collections had to live up to the standards of the works that had brought him worldwide fame: the Foundation series and the robot novels. The result is some thirty stories and short novels that are among the best of Asimovian's work: from the spectacular recreation of the new space frontier in "The Martian Style" to the tragic time travel of a Neanderthal in "The Ugly Kid", passing through classics remembered by generations of readers such as "The Dead Past", "The Joker", "Dreaming Is a Private Affair" or "The Last Question".
