Isabella Shay is usually a very honest person. But when she’s about to be late for her dream job’s first day and hears the barista call out "Amy" three times with no response, she doesn't think twice—she pretends to be Amy. After all, it’s the same coffee she ordered and already paid for, so what harm could it do? Besides, she’s willing to accept whatever bad karma she might incur if it means arriving on time.
