Un otoño en Bramble Falls

Ellis has it all planned out: she's going to spend her senior year of high school preparing her application to Columbia University, where she wants to study journalism to lay the foundation for a promising professional future. That's why her parents couldn't have chosen a worse time to tell her they're separating and that she has to leave New York City to live with her aunt and cousin in Bramble Falls, Connecticut, where she used to spend her summers. Idyllic and charming, the town is also full of distractions, like the local barista, Cooper Barnett, who was her best friend and the one she shared her first kiss with, but who now wants nothing to do with her. Ellis finds herself drawn into every one of the festival's enchanting activities, like apple picking and pumpkin carving, so she can't help but run into Cooper and fall in love with the quaint little town and its quirky inhabitants. Her return to Manhattan keeps getting postponed, and Ellis ends up caught between two very different places and the future they represent for her.
