San Sebastián, July 1997. While her husband is away on a business trip, Maite welcomes her sister Elene, who, after spending many years in the United States, returns to her hometown because their mother has suffered a stroke. During the days they spend together, the sisters and their mother live and talk, but avoid telling each other the whole truth.
