Alicia dreams of flying, and during her childhood, she cares for a wounded little bird for a few days, an experience she will never forget. Years later, she looks to the sky for something very different: the planes of war are arriving. Little by little, Alicia grows up, and with her, her longing for a better life, far from her small village lost in the Asturian mining region.
