Hacer y deshacer : Antología 1971-2025

The work of Pureza Canelo (Moraleja, Cáceres, 1946) is among the most original and consistently crafted in contemporary poetry. Structured around the self-critique of poetry, and with it the moral re-examination of the act of being in the world, it is imbued with a threefold simultaneity: existential, ethical, and metalinguistic. This anthology gathers a broad selection of her work, from her early poems chosen for Celda verde and the Adonáis Prize-winning Lugar común (both published in 1971) to such significant titles as Pasión inédita (1990), Dulce nadie (2008), Cuatro poéticas (2011), Oeste (2013), Retirada (2018), and De traslación (2022). This edition also offers readers two previously unpublished works, still open to future additions: Volver and Olvido.
