A criminal investigation. A party cut short. A few days that transformed Spain. San Fermín, 1997. Amaia, a rookie Basque-speaking municipal police officer, finds the body of a young Black woman who has fallen from the city walls. Her superiors consider it a fatal accident. But she, convinced it could have been murder, seeks the help of Julio Goñi, a National Police inspector recently returned to the city after spending years fighting drug trafficking in Galicia. Julio carries the weight of his late father's legacy, a shadowy Francoist police commissioner. Amaia and Julio belong to two opposing sides of Pamplona, ​​but share the goal of unraveling a case far more complex and dangerous than they could have imagined. Their investigation takes a turn when ETA kidnaps a young city councilman named Miguel Ángel Blanco, and the Pamplona festivities become a powder keg.
