La vida al final

Martin, a seventy-six-year-old lawyer, receives the unexpected diagnosis of a terminal illness. Happily married to a much younger woman and the father of a young child, he must confront an unavoidable question: how to live his final months to the fullest? Martin refuses to succumb to drama and instead embraces a methodical and serene routine: organizing his remaining time and saying goodbye to his family, leaving them with a precious and lasting memory of their life together. He does so quietly, through a series of modest and ordinary gestures, yet full of warmth and dignity. He cancels appointments, stops answering emails, dedicates his time to enjoying each day with his son, and reflects on what legacy he can leave him. He begins writing her a letter, though he soon realizes that his love and presence are worth more than any written record. He also observes with some unease that his wife seems to have a life beyond their relationship, which doesn't diminish his desire to say goodbye in the best way possible.
