Star Wars: La Fuerza Viva (novela)

In the year leading up to The Phantom Menace, Yoda, Mace Windu, and the entire Jedi Council face a galaxy on the brink of change. The Jedi have always traveled the stars, upholding peace and justice throughout the galaxy. But the galaxy is changing, and with it, the Jedi Order. Increasingly focused on the future of the Republic, the Order is isolated on Coruscant, where the twelve members of the Jedi Council assess galactic-scale crises. When another Jedi outpost is about to be dismantled on the planet Kwenn, Qui-Gon Jinn questions the Council about the Order's growing isolation. Mace Windu then suggests a bold response: the twelve Jedi Masters will undertake a diplomatic mission to aid the planet and remind its people that the Jedi still watch over the galaxy. A move that will not be viewed the same way by everyone.
