Sueño de noche de verano

On the eve of Theseus and Hippolyta's wedding, Athens is rife with romantic tensions: Hermia loves Lysander, but her father forces her to marry Demetrius, while Helena desperately pursues his affections. The four flee to the forest, unaware that Oberon and Titania, monarchs of the fairies, reign there, and that a mischievous sprite is about to unleash chaos with an enchanted flower that drives desire mad. Amidst spells, jealousy, and mistaken identities, the night transforms love into a comical and perilous labyrinth. And, like a mocking mirror, a group of artisans prepares a play within a play to celebrate the ducal wedding. At dawn, magic reveals the fragility and wonder of what we call reality.
