Hector is a lonely, middle-aged janitor who lives with his mother and is nervously heading to his first blind date: he met a girl online but has never met her in person. Victor is a mobster's driver who hires him to dispose of a body on a deserted highway. The two are driving in opposite directions toward their respective destinations. Chance —or fate, depending on how you look at it— causes their cars to collide head-on. They both escape the accident unharmed, but their cars are totaled. Victor, gun in hand, forces Hector to help him load the body. What begins as a grotesque farce becomes a suffocating journey into the two men's pasts: who they are, what decisions have led them to this point, and what would have happened if their paths had never crossed.
