After the sudden death of her boyfriend, all Vera wants is to fade into obscurity; she settles for washing sheets and cleaning bathrooms at a Glastonbury hotel. But when a mysterious guest introduces himself as Merlin and whisks her away to 7th-century Camelot, everything changes. Merlin insists that Vera is not just Vera, but the mythical Queen Guinevere… and that she is the only one who can undo the curse draining the kingdom of magic, thus saving Camelot from the evil intentions of a power-hungry sorceress.
