The animals rest, feed, and refresh themselves… It is a peaceful day interrupted by the noisy arrival of the elephant who, stumbling, has turned the savanna upside down: the lion ends up soaked in the watering hole, and the crocodile, the antelope, and the zebras have bounced all the way to the treetops… The narrator encourages the reader —who becomes the protagonist of this fun adventure— to shake the book to return them to their initial position, but the successive interactions have no effect, and with each shake, the disorder goes further, defying the law of gravity and even altering the animals' appearance.
