Gramáticas de la escucha : Hacer audible lo inaudito

The relationship between history, memory, and violence occupies a central place in contemporary political debate. How can we listen to the unheard-of nature of violence? Making it audible involves not only attending to the effects that violence has on the bodies, lives, and worlds it seeks to destroy, but also on the frameworks of meaning that it governs and manages. In this book, the author proposes developing frameworks that allow us to hear all the levels at which violence silences those who suffer and survive it, and simultaneously create new registers that do justice to what would otherwise remain unheard.
